Goodison Park now looks horrendous after what Everton have done to it since moving out
Goodison Park already doesn’t look like how fans will remember it after Everton left their old home at the end of last season.
Everton Women have now moved into Goodison Park, sparking a major facelift of the Grand Old Lady.
Saying goodbye to Goodison was sad for Evertonians, but the future is already looking bright at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with David Moyes’ Everton in fine form in the Premier League.
But what’s not helped the transition from Stanley Park to Bramley-Moore Dock has been how different Goodison Road now looks.

Everton say goodbye to men’s legends as new pink banner raised
Alex Young, Dave Hickson, Bob Latchford and Dixie Dean were among the Everton legends shown on large hoardings outside the Goodison Road stand.
Unfortunately, those images have been torn down now and, in doing so, ugly grey cladding was shown to really expose just how old the Grand Old Lady is.
In a later post, those Everton legends have been replaced by a big pink banner – yes, pink – that says “welcome to Goodison Park”.
It is a bit puzzling as to why the club chose to put something outside of the traditional blue.

What is next for Goodison?
While the women have made Goodison their home now, what other changes are to come to the iconic ground are yet to be seen.
Supporters will not stay quiet if things continue to happen at Goodison that they do not approve of.
Women’s games would have been expected to receive healthy attendance figures, with them being at Goodison, but who will want to go to a stadium they thought they once knew but now cannot recognise?
They have reasons to want to go as well with the women’s team and standouts like Ornella Vignola playing so well.
The club ought to be careful, as the maintenance and preservation of the stadium is of the utmost importance to the fans, and what they have done so far has left many puzzled.
