Ex-Man City star reacts to Jack Grealish’s latest performance as Everton struggle vs Aston Villa
Jack Grealish’s early performances at Everton have exceeded everyone’s expectations so far.
Grealish‘s move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium from Manchester City came as a surprise to everyone across England. The Toffees made a real statement in being able to bring him in on loan.
David Moyes‘ gamble on a player who was out of favour and written off by many has so far paid off and then some.
Grealish was named Premier League Player of the Month for August. He managed to notch four assists in only three league matches last month.
The Toffees had a perfect home record to start the season ahead of their 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on Saturday. Had they picked up all three points, Everton could have made history at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Fans and those in the media have called for England manager Thomas Tuchel to bring in Grealish, as he is desperate to be back in the England fold.

Nedum Onuoha heaps praise upon Jack Grealish in Aston Villa match
While Everton may have only picked up a point against Grealish’s former side, that still comes as a positive result to pick up against a team that managed to qualify for Europe last season.
While covering the match for the BBC Sport website, Nedum Onuoha was stunned by how Grealish played on the day and claimed this might be the best he has ever played.
Ex-Manchester City defender Onuoha said: “Jack Grealish looks super confident. It’s a very small sample size but it’s as good as we’ve seen him in his entire career.”
He added: “He’s taking players on, taking shots on and looking for the final ball.”
Grealish’s numbers on the day are spectacular. According to Fotmob, he completed 88% of his passes, created five chances, and had one shot on target.
Beto’s inconsistent finishing may prove to be frustrating, but his double-digit goal tally last season shows signs of improvement.
His fine form seems to have no end in sight, as this follows Grealish’s impressive performance in Everton’s last away match against Wolves.

Jack Grealish can take this Everton team to new heights
It seems there is nothing Grealish cannot do at the moment. While he is yet to score, his place in this Everton team has completely transformed them, and he has adapted perfectly along with the many new faces signed over the summer transfer window.
Having only lost one of their first four Premier League games, Everton looks solid on both sides of the ball.
Having only just turned 30, Grealish is in what are meant to be his prime years. He clearly still has the quality to carry a team on his back, and with his performances as of late, it is no wonder that he was once signed for £100million.
Iliman Ndiaye already showed what he was capable of last season, and now, combined with Grealish, they will cause many headaches for Premier League defences this season.
