David Moyes will be delighted after referee he once applauded appointed for Liverpool clash
The Premier League have announced the officials who will take charge of the Merseyside derby on Saturday, and there is good news for David Moyes.
Everton drew 0-0 with Aston Villa on Sunday, and the Toffees could count themselves unlucky to not take all three points.
The trip to take on Liverpool will bring a new challenge, however, with Arne Slot’s side winning all four of their Premier League matches this season.
Jack Grealish was named Premier League Player of the Month for August, and the winger will be hoping to continue his impressive form at Anfield.
Iliman Ndiaye will be looking forward to facing Milos Kerkez, after the Liverpool full-back was substituted in the first half of the Reds’ game against Burnley on Sunday.

Premier League confirm match officials for Merseyside derby
Simon Hooper was in charge of Everton’s match against Villa, and the referee made several questionable decisions.
The most notable of which was to blow up for a foul when James Tarkowski had won the ball cleanly in a challenge with Morgan Rogers.
The Premier League have confirmed that Darren England will take charge of Saturday’s Merseyside derby, with Lee Betts and Scott Ledger running the lines.

The fourth official will be Bobby Madley, whilst John Brooks will be assisted by Akil Howson on video assistant referee duty.
David Moyes applauded Darren England after decision vs Fulham
Everton beat Fulham 3-1 at Craven Cottage in May, but the final stages of the game could have gone very differently.
Adama Traore broke down the right before attempting to cross, with the ball striking Vitalii Mykolenko’s arm at extremely close proximity.
There were huge claims from Fulham, but referee England was unmoved. Upon viewing the incident, the video assistant referee recommended an on-field review.
But once at the screen, England did not change his mind, waving away claims once again.
Moyes could be seen applauding the referee, and said after the game: “I clapped him. I would have had a Mexican wave.
“I saw it on the i Pad and I saw the boy was running so I don’t know where you’d expect his hands to be. Isn’t it great we have someone who is willing to go to the screen and stick with his decision?
“We want referees to go by their own decision, and from what I’ve seen the correct decision.”
