Everton given ‘simple choice’ over sale as player told he’s not good enough for David Moyes
David Moyes has overseen plenty of incomings and departures since he joined Everton earlier this year.
In the summer transfer window alone, the Scotsman brought in nine new players, with Merlin Rohl being the final Everton signing on deadline day.
However, if the Merseyside club are to return to their best, further changes are no doubt needed.
As a result, Moyes may be tempted to sell further first-team stars over the coming months.

Bryan King: Vitalii Mykolenko not good enough to take Everton into new era
Vitalii Mykolenko has had an unfortunate start to the new 2025/26 campaign.
The full-back has been out injured for the majority of the season as he struggles with fitness.
While Mykolenko is tipped to return to Everton soon, his stay in the first team may not be long, according to Bryan King.
Talking exclusively to Goodison News, the former scout admitted he was surprised that Everton rejected a £26million bid for Mykolenko in the summer.

- Mykolenko has missed the majority of the 2025/26 campaign through injury
“He’s been a good servant to the club,” King said.
“Napoli won the Italian league, and I think they were a bit of a surprise package last year, so I would have thought that would have been a good move for him.
“I can’t see him being a player in this new era of Everton that takes them to the next level.
“I would have thought £26m would have been a good offer for Everton.
“It’s either to be a new contract, or they sell him, it’s as simple as that really.”
David Moyes needs to be ruthless at Everton
While players such as Mykolenko are fine in the starting XI for the time being, if Moyes wants to see the Toffees back to their old heights, he has to be ruthless.
Teams such as Newcastle and Aston Villa, who have recently returned to the European fold, did not hold back when overhauling previously successful squads.
This is likely something that Moyes will have to do in the near future, with the likes of Mykolenko unlikely to survive in the Toffees improve further.
Hopefully, if Everton get themselves in this position, the manager will not hesitate to do what needs to be done.
