Sean Dyche tipped for shock Manchester United appointment after Everton failure
Former Everton boss Sean Dyche has been shockingly suggested as the next manager to take the reins at Manchester United.
Everton sacked Dyche in January, with the Toffees sitting one point above the relegation zone, having won just three of their last 19 games.
The Englishman had led his side to Premier League safety twice in the seasons prior, but was dismissed after the Friedkin Group had completed their takeover.
Everton re-hired David Moyes, and the former Manchester United boss led the Toffees to a 13th-place finish at the end of the season.
Moyes has been praised for his impact at Everton, with his side currently sitting sixth in the Premier League after a strong start.

Jamie O’Hara makes Sean Dyche prediction
Dyche has been suggested as Manchester United’s next manager previously, with the Red Devils seemingly locked in an endless cycle of managerial sackings.
Erik ten Hag was sacked last season and replaced by Ruben Amorim, but the Portuguese coach has failed to do much better.
Manchester United were smashed 3-0 by Manchester City on Sunday, making it just four points from a possible 12 to kick off the Premier League season.
And in the Carabao Cup, Amorim’s team were humiliated when League Two club Grimsby Town took a 2-0 lead before knocking them out on penalties.
Dyche, whilst not an attractive proposition by name, would provide the no-nonsense, experienced presence Manchester United have, perhaps, lacked in recent years.

After the former Burnley boss was suggested by a caller on Jason Cundy and Jamie O’Hara’s Monday talkSPORT show, the two discussed the possibility.
“Dyche? I think Dyche would probably do a good job,” O’Hara said, with Cundy responding: “Don’t knock Dyche. Don’t knock Sean Dyche. Don’t knock him.”
O’Hara would go on to claim: “Sean Dyche would take the Manchester United job 100 per cent.
“I don’t care what my agent says, if I were Sean Dyche and Man United phoned me and said, ‘Will you take the job to the end of the season, if you do well, we’ll potentially give you the job. That’s based on whether you do well or not.’
“It can’t get any worse for Man United.”
Manchester United job is a poisoned chalice
There is no one better to tell of the difficulties of managing Manchester United than the man currently standing in the dugout for Everton.
Moyes was hand-picked by Sir Alex Ferguson to follow the Premier League legend at Old Trafford, but the Scot’s short time in Manchester was calamitous.
In just 10 months at the club, Moyes lost 15 of his 51 matches and left Manchester United sitting seventh in the Premier League – a position fans of the Red Devils would likely happily accept currently, although.
Ironically, the Scot’s final game in charge at Manchester United would come at Goodison Park, with a 2-0 loss to Everton leading to his sacking.
Things are now looking much rosier at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
