Arne Slot has just made Alexander Isak howler ahead of Everton clash vs Liverpool
Alexander Isak made his full debut for Liverpool on Wednesday, with the striker now likely to make his Premier League bow for the Reds against Everton on Saturday.
David Moyes is hoping to beat Liverpool at Anfield for the first time in his career on Saturday, with the Scot having not won there in 23 years.
Arne Slot’s side have won all five of their fixtures in all competitions this season so far, but Everton will hope that they can spoil the party at Anfield.
Jack Grealish has a strong record against Liverpool, and the winger will be key if Moyes’ side are to leave with any points.
Liverpool are huge favourites against Everton, but the Toffees have made a strong start to the season themselves.

Arne Slot reveals Alexander Isak plan vs Everton
Slot previously confirmed Isak would not be rushed for the Everton game, and the Dutchman has now revealed more about his plan for the striker’s fitness.
The 25-year-old played 58 minutes against Atletico Madrid, and his manager admitted he was surprised by how fit the Swede looked.
Slot said: “It was a good start, only 60 minutes and now we have to build him up from here. He’s not going to play 90 against Everton.”
David Moyes handed advantage vs Liverpool
Moyes would have already been preparing his defenders to play against Isak.
The striker is a known threat within the Premier League, and it was no secret that Liverpool were planning to introduce the Swede into their line-up over the coming games.
But with Slot’s plan for the 25-year-old’s involvement now revealed, Moyes can already be aware of a key component of Liverpool’s attack for the Merseyside derby.
The Scot has already shut down Isak once, when Everton travelled to Newcastle United on the final day of last season’s Premier League.
Slot has effectively told Moyes that Isak will play an hour before going off, when surely it would have made more sense to stay silent and leave the Toffees guessing?
Premier League 2025/26 | James Tarkowski | Michael Keane | Jake O’Brien |

A centre-back duo of Michael Keane and Jake O’Brien constricted the forward to just three shots at St James’ Park, banishing any threat from the striker and leaving with all three points.
Moyes can look to deploy similar tactics to close down Isak on Saturday, with Everton likely to set up in a deep block.
Everton will need to harness every marginal gain they can if they are to emerge victorious against the Premier League champions this weekend, and Moyes will be happy to have been handed one already by his opposing manager.
