How to watch today’s Liverpool vs Everton Premier League game: TV channel, live stream, kick-off time

Everton travel to Liverpool for the first Merseyside derby of the season on Saturday as they look to spoil the Reds’ winning start to the Premier League.

It has been a strong start to the season for both sides, with Everton’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa extending their unbeaten run to four games in all competitions.

The home side top the Premier League table, having won all four of their opening fixtures.

Liverpool are the favourites against Everton, but David Moyes’ side will carry confidence after the Reds were forced to leave it late against Burnley last week.

Darren England will take charge of the Merseyside derby, with John Brooks serving as the video assistant referee for the clash.

How to watch Liverpool vs Everton

Everton have enjoyed several good moments at Anfield, but the ground has rarely seen away wins in the Merseyside derby.

The Toffees’ last win came in 2021, when goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson sealed the win for a Carlo Ancelotti-led side behind closed doors.

Before that, 1999 marked the last time Everton had won at Anfield, with an early goal from the late Kevin Campbell sending the away end into raptures that day.

Everton vs Liverpool kick-off time

Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye will be looking forward to the contest, with Liverpool’s full-backs representing a rare area of weakness for the champions.

Milos Kerkez was substituted in the first half of the Reds’ trip to Burnley after the defender had picked up a yellow card.

The Hungary international has faced a tough start to his Liverpool career, and Ndiaye will be keen to take full advantage.

On the other side, Jeremie Frimpong could return to the back line for Arne Slot’s side. The Netherlands international is prone to bombing forward, which could allow space in behind for Grealish.

Liverpool against Everton will be the early kick-off on Saturday, getting underway at 12:30 BST.
