Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sets personal Everton targets

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has enjoyed a strong start to life at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, since completing his move from Chelsea.

The midfielder has starred for much of the season alongside Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye, but struggled to impact the game against Liverpool.

On Tuesday, Chris Beesley revealed that Dewsbury-Hall has set private targets at Everton, the journalist explaining that the 27-year-old “wants to be getting the goals and assists”.

James Tarkowski reveals David Moyes’ Everton ambitions

Everton’s last major trophy came in 1995, when Joe Royle completed a terrific turnaround at Goodison Park to lead the Toffees away from relegation trouble and to FA Cup glory against Manchester United.

The years since have brought stability, but without trophy success. James Tarkowski has revealed that Moyes’ priority at Everton is to win a trophy and change that, however.

The Carabao Cup will give the Scot his first chance to do exactly that, with the Blues hoping to progress past Wolves on Tuesday and beyond.

David Moyes can play direct role in managerial sacking

Moyes will enjoy a full-circle moment when Everton play West Ham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday.

The Hammers sacked the Scot just 17 months ago, but now find themselves in the relegation zone.

And the Daily Mail have reported that Moyes could get Potter sacked when Everton play West Ham, with the clash expected to prove key in David Sullivan’s decision.

Jeff Stelling lauds James Tarkowski after Liverpool display

Despite the fact that Everton were beaten by Liverpool, there were several standout performers for the visitors.

Among them were Grealish and Gueye, who stuck to their task throughout the 90 minutes and gave Moyes’ side a competitive edge.

Jeff Stelling praised James Tarkowski’s performance against Liverpool, however, describing the defender as a “warrior” in his talkSPORT show on Monday.
