Supercomputer predicts outcome of Wolves vs Everton clash
David Moyes will hope his Everton team can bounce back on Tuesday when they face Wolves in the Carabao Cup.
Everton lost 2-1 to Liverpool on Saturday, with Ryan Gravenberch and Hugo Ekitike scoring to put the game beyond the Scot’s side at Anfield.
Idrissa Gueye finished brilliantly to halve the deficit after half-time, but the Toffees were unable to find the equaliser.
Danny Murphy was impressed by the structure of Moyes’ team, with the home side restricted to very few openings after the first 30 minutes.
Referee Darren England was criticised for his decisions against Everton, with one bizarre moment seeing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall booked for taking a free kick too quickly.
All eyes are on Molineux again, now.

Everton are slight favourites for Wolves clash
Everton beat Wolves 3-2 in the Premier League last month, but Moyes will be hoping Tuesday’s game can see a slightly more comprehensive victory for his side.
Vitor Pereira’s side lost 3-1 to Leeds United on 20 September, in what was their fifth straight Premier League loss to start the new season.
Everton, on the other hand, sit ninth in the Premier League after Saturday’s loss, having won two of their opening five.

Opta’s supercomputer has given Everton the edge for Tuesday’s meeting, with Moyes’ side having a 40 per cent chance of progressing to the next round.
Wolves have been given a 34 per cent chance of winning at Molineux, with a 25 per cent chance remaining for a draw, which would lead to penalties.
Everton have recovered record vs Wolves recently
Between 2009 and 2019, Everton did not lose to Wolves, with five of the seven meetings resulting in draws.
The Toffees enjoyed playing against Wolves upon their return to the top flight, but that would only last for so long, with the West Midlands side enjoying five wins from six meetings with Everton between 2021 and 2024.
Recently, however, the Blues have clawed that record back and are now on a three-game unbeaten streak against Wolves.
Moyes will hope to extend that streak to four games on Tuesday, with Everton eyeing a cup run this season.
