Everton player ratings vs Wolves: Summer signing rotten, 7/10 only positive
Everton crashed out the Carabao Cup in the third round as they lost 2-0 to Wolves on Tuesday.
David Moyes made numerous changes to his Everton starting XI, and this did not pay off.
Wolves opened the scoreline in the first half as Marshall Munetsi bundled in a rebound after Mark Travers’ save.
While Everton did have chances in the second half, they were unable to force an equaliser.
Tolu Arokodare then added a second late on for Wolves as the Toffees crashed out of the Carabao Cup.

Thierno Barry is a big worry for David Moyes
Thierno Barry came into Everton for £27million as the striker looked to end the Toffees’ attacking woes.
However, in his few appearances so far, the Frenchman has been woeful, and this trend continued at Molineux.
Barry struggled to get involved in the game, and when he did have a shot on goal, each one flew off target.
The striker also picked up a yellow card and could have picked up another before he was eventually taken off at half-time.
While players do take time to adapt to new countries and leagues, as it stands, Barry looks to be a flop and not the answer to Everton’s attacking woes.

James Garner continues to impress for Everton
While it is hard to find positives in a defeat, one of the few players who stood out was James Garner.
The midfielder ran the show, especially in the first half, and saw a free-kick crash off the bar as the visitors hunted for an equaliser.
Garner has already had a strong campaign for Everton, and continued this form at Molineux.
While many underperformed against Wolves, the midfielder can hold his head high.
