Everton news round-up: David Moyes ‘shock’ verdict as ‘bad news’ emerges from Premier League meeting
Everton will try to get back to winning ways against West Ham on Monday evening.
Everton were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Wolves in midweek, in a disappointing 2-0 loss at Molineux.
Moyes and Co will be looking to bounce back at the Hill Dickinson Stadium against a Hammers side that are struggling desperately.
Here, Goodison News rounds up the latest Blues updates from 25 September.

Everton set to revive Franculino Dju pursuit
Everton could be back in the market for Franculino Dju in the winter transfer window.
A report from Africa Foot on 25 September claims that the Blues are following the FC Midtjylland forward, but face competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Brentford and Borussia Dortmund.
It states that the Guinea-Bissau forward is available for a fee of £17.5million, as the Danish club feel like they cannot hold on to him for much longer.
Dju has registered 12 goal contributions with a goal every 142 minutes, as per Sofascore.

Grim Everton statistic gives West Ham hope
An Everton statistic will give West Ham the belief that they can win when the two sides face off on 29 September.
The Blues are set to play their second Monday Night Football game of the campaign, the first being the loss to Leeds United on the opening weekend.
They have a grim record when playing on a Monday, winning just once in their last nine matches played on that day.
Paul Merson shares ‘shock’ David Moyes verdict
Paul Merson was shocked when Everton boss David Moyes made seven changes for the loss to Wolves.
The ex-Arsenal star revealed his surprise in his weekly predictions column for Sportskeeda on 25 September.
He predicted that the Blues will beat the Irons 2-0, saying: “I was shocked by David Moyes’ team selection for the loss against Wolves.
“He ended up bringing on Iliman Ndiaye, Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Beto and Vitalii Mykolenko from the bench.
“If you want to rest them, leave them out of the squad. Now they are in a situation where these players aren’t 100 per cent fresh for the weekend.”

Everton involved in ‘bad news’ reveal at Premier League meeting
Everton’s involvement in the Premier League Summer Series was “bad news”.
A report from The Athletic on 25 September claims that the tournament involving the Blues lost money, rather than making money.
It states that the reveal at the Premier League’s shareholders’ meeting was head-scratching, because the clash between Manchester United and the Hammers at MetLife Stadium drew in a bigger audience than the Club World Cup final.
