Everton vs West Ham preview: Team news, likely lineups, score prediction

David Moyes will hope his Everton team can return to winning ways against West Ham on Monday.

Everton lost 2-0 to Wolves at Molineux on Tuesday, with goals from Marshall Munetsi and Tolu Arokodare punishing a heavily rotated Toffees side.

Moyes had elected to change much of the line-up that lost to Liverpool, but the Scot was left to rue that decision.

Jarrad Branthwaite is expected to return for Everton against West Ham, with the defender set to line up alongside James Tarkowski.

Branthwaite suffered a setback to a hamstring injury in pre-season, and the defender could now be set to finally return to action.

For West Ham, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been missing for the last two fixtures with an apparent stomach issue. The defender is hoping to return to the starting line-up against Everton.

Tomas Soucek received a straight red card for a dangerous challenge against Tottenham, and will continue to be suspended for the trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish; Beto.

Everton's predicted XI for the visit of West Ham in the Premier League

Prediction: Everton 2-0 West Ham

West Ham have endured a terrible start to the season, and sit 19th in the Premier League.

Graham Potter’s side have struggled to put the ball in the back of the net, and have not been able to keep it out of their own.

Everton will have to be wary of the danger posed by the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta, but Moyes’ side should have enough to secure the three points comprehensively.
