Everton to receive huge financial boost as ‘enormous difference-maker’ emerges

Everton’s financial troubles dominated the Toffees’ business for years before The Friedkin Group arrived.

Under the previous owner, Farhad Moshiri, the Merseyside club had numerous restrictions due to their financial situation.

This eventually resulted in Everton having two separate points deductions in the 2023/24 campaign due to PSR breaches.

Thankfully, under Dan Friedkin, this appears to be a thing of the past, with the Toffees’ financial position now set to only get stronger.

Bryan King: Hill Dickinson Stadium to double Everton’s ticket revenue

One of the biggest changes to Everton this season has been their arrival at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Everton’s men’s side left Goodison Park last campaign after 133 years to move to Bramley Moore Dock.

So far, this has been a success, with the Toffees unbeaten in their three competitive games at the ground.

However, on top of their on-field success, off it, Bryan King exclusively told Goodison News that the Toffees should see a significant financial boost from their move.

“When you think that Everton’s capacity at Goodison was 39,000, and it’s now 55,000,” King said.

“Plus, you’ve also got the hospitality lounges and things like that.

“I can see the revenue from the new stadium being twice as much as it was from Goodison. That is also going to help to bring in new sponsors and companies, so everything snowballs really.

“All of this is going to make an enormous difference to Everton as a club. And if the team keep winning, then you’ll see that the stadium is sold out every week, just as Goodison was.”

Financial boost could give Toffees edge in transfer market

As it stands, Everton have the seventh biggest stadium in the Premier League, beating the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle in capacity.

The extra revenue generated from this move could help give the Toffees an edge in the transfer market, especially if they end up fighting for Europe.

Hopefully, Friedkin will utilise this, and use the additional funds to bring in quality players.

If so, there is no reason as to why Everton cannot be in Europe once again sooner rather than later.
