Report shares who’ll be in West Ham dugout for Everton clash after Graham Potter sack
West Ham have sacked Graham Potter just days before the Englishman was due to lead his team at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Reports suggested David Moyes could get Potter sacked at West Ham on Monday, but decision makers at the London Stadium have pulled the trigger.
The former Chelsea boss leaves the Hammers 19th in the Premier League, having won just one of his opening five league games.
Moyes had never beaten Potter in a competitive match, but the Scot will now face off against a different opponent.
Sam Barrott will take charge of Everton’s clash with West Ham, with Paul Tierney appointed as video assistant referee.

Merlin Rohl and Jarrad Branthwaite are unavailable against West Ham, but Moyes will hope his side’s quality elsewhere will shine through.
West Ham undoubtedly possess danger in the attacking positions, but most of their struggles have come at the back this season.
Potter’s side had conceded 13 goals in just five games, with set pieces proving to be a particularly prominent problem.

Mads Hermansen signed from Leicester City in the summer, but the Dane’s struggles with high balls was immediately clear.
Potter had dropped the goalkeeper for Alphonse Areola, but with West Ham now set to take on Everton with a new face in the dugout, Moyes will have to prepare for every possibility.
According to various sources, including Sky Sports News, the new face will belong to Nuno Espirito Santo, and it has been reported that the Portuguese manager looks set to be in place for Monday’s game.
Nuno Espirito Santo will provide different test for Everton
Santo left Nottingham Forest in bizarre circumstances earlier this month, despite the 51-year-old leading the club to a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season.
The former Wolves boss had reportedly fallen out with the club’s new Global Head of Football, Edu Gaspar, and subsequently, owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Santo’s Forest shocked the Premier League last season, and could have finished in the league’s top four positions, had it not been for a late-season collapse.
The manager has often been known for deploying five at the back, and could well do the same at West Ham for Monday’s clash.
