Mild day expected for Everton vs Crystal Palace

While Everton have had poor weather in their recent matches, this looks unlikely to continue on Sunday.

The Met Office on 1 October has predicted a cloudy day with sunny spells, with the temperature predicted to hit a high of 15 degrees.

However, the chance of precipitation is still reasonable, sitting between 20 and 30 per cent throughout most of the day.

For kick-off, the humidity is also expected to be high, at around 62 per cent, increasing to 64 per cent for full-time.

Hill Dickinson Stadium sold out for Crystal Palace showdown

The upcoming fixture sold out weeks in advance, with Everton confirming all of their tickets had been sold on 5 September.

Crystal Palace have also sold out their allocation for the trip, with both sides of the stadium set to be packed.

Therefore, an electric atmosphere is expected, with both teams aiming to pick up all three points.

Away guide for Hill Dickinson Stadium

With many fans likely to be attending the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time on Sunday, there is plenty to know before the trip.

For supporters travelling by train, the closest station is Sandhills, which is around a 15-minute walk to the stadium.

If travelling by car, supporters are advised not to go drive directly to the stadium, with road closures and parking restrictions in place.

With parking enforcement in place on the surrounding residential and industrial streets, fans are instead advised to use car parks in the vicinity of the city centre.
