Jordan Pickford sends Jack Grealish message ahead of Friday announcement away from Everton
Jack Grealish has revived his career since joining Everton on a season-long loan.
Grealish became the first Everton player to pick up the Premier League Player of the Month award since Dominic Calvert-Lewin in September 2020, with his August exploits.
While he has not been able to add to his assist tally, Everton star Grealish tops the Premier League for key passes, overtaking Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes after the 1-1 draw with West Ham, as per Sofascore.
His tantalising form has led to calls for the Blues star to be recalled to the England squad, but it remains to be seen if Thomas Tuchel gives in to the pressure.

Jordan Pickford wants Jack Grealish in the England squad
Pickford is England and Everton’s starting goalkeeper, and he carries a significant influence with the national team, with 78 caps under his belt.
The Blues star has called on Tuchel to add Grealish back into the fold after his stunning form for the Toffees, with the squad announcement due on Friday.
In quotes reported by the print edition of the Daily Mirror (page 53), Pickford said: “Yeah, I hope so.
“He is a top lad and one of my mates as well, but I am not the manager. I will let the manager pick the squad on Friday, and fingers crossed he is in it.”

Tuchel will make his decision in the coming days, and the public will find out whether Grealish has made it on 3 October.
Grealish deserves to be called up after Everton exploits
The 30-year-old has shone since joining the Hill Dickinson Stadium outfit, and should be handed his first Three Lions call-up since Tuchel took charge.
Grealish’s last appearance for the national team was in a 3-1 win over Finland in October 2024, and they have played eight matches since then, without him in the squad.
- Grealish has 39 caps for the England national team
- Made his debut for his country in August 2020, in a Nations League clash with Denmark
- He is hoping to make the squad for the 2026 World Cup in the United States
His exploits for the Blues should be recognised by the former Chelsea manager, but whether they are remains to be seen.
Toffees fans and Pickford will be keeping a close eye on the announcement, for whether their star man has made it in or not.
Hopefully, Tuchel has seen what Grealish has been doing, and decides that he cannot ignore it, because it would be a huge shame if he is not named in the squad.
