Supercomputer predicts outcome of Everton vs Crystal Palace clash
Everton are set to return to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday once again to take on Crystal Palace.
Pressure is no doubt mounting David Moyes to deliver a result after the Toffees’ recent drop in form.
Everton’s 1-1 draw against West Ham now means that the Merseyside club are winless in their last four matches in all competitions.
This is a massive drop off from the start of the campaign, which saw the Everton have an excellent start to the 2025/26 season.
Now, with an in-form Crystal Palace side set to arrive at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Moyes’ fixtures are not set to get any easier.

Crystal Palace slight favourites for Everton clash
With Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall banned for the Palace match, Moyes already faces multiple challenges to get a result.
The visitors come into the match without a defeat this season, but with the longest unbeaten run in Europe’s top five leagues, standing at 18 matches.

Now, this has been reflected in Opta’s prediction for the match, with the supercomputer on 1 October making Palace slight favourites with a 42 per cent chance of victory.
In comparison, Everton’s chances of taking three points stand at 32.5 per cent, while the odds of a draw sit at 25.5 per cent.
Everton vs Crystal Palace head-to-head record
Everton have a fantastic record against Crystal Palace, both recently and overall.
Since March 2022, the Toffees are unbeaten against the Eagles, a record that stretches back nine matches.
Everton’s head-to-head record vs Crystal Palace | |
Wins | 28 |
Draws | 21 |
Losses | 15 |
This includes a double over Crystal Palace last season, with Everton winning the last meeting between the two sides 2-1.
Now, Moyes will be aiming to repeat this trick to ensure that the Toffees start October on a high note before the international break gets underway.
