‘This is what Dwight McNeil told me before season started’, it’s heartbreaking for Everton star
Everton have enjoyed an up-and-down start to the season, with many of the lows coming in the past few weeks.
Jarrod Bowen cancelled out Michael Keane‘s opener on Monday as Everton drew 1-1 with West Ham.
The point leaves the Toffees sitting ninth in the Premier League, but David Moyes would have rued his team’s failure to go level on points with Manchester City.
Beto was slammed for his performance against West Ham, after the striker failed to register more than one shot on goal.
Moyes is facing a difficult choice between Beto and Thierno Barry, with neither striker managing to impress so far.

Journalist reveals what Dwight McNeil told him
Dwight McNeil was awful against Wolves last week, on what has become a rare opportunity for the winger.
The Englishman won just one duel over the course of his 59 minutes on the pitch, and lost possession an appalling 10 times.
It was a performance that further indicates that the writing is on the wall at Everton for the 25-year-old.

Last season, McNeil had been a regular for the Toffees, making 21 appearances in the Premier League after a knee injury had ruled him out for around four months in the middle of the season.
And the winger was confident about his role going into this season, Chris Beesley has revealed.
“Dwight McNeil was talking to me, we were having an interview, it wasn’t just an informal chit-chat, and he was saying he thought it was a big season for him,” the journalist told the Liverpool Echo’s Royal Blue podcast on Wednesday.
“He now saw himself as a senior player, he had to develop. And since that interview was made, obviously Alcaraz was signed at the start of the summer, he was already through the door.
“Bang, bang, bang, Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Dibling all come in that month after we spoke, and he’s well down there.”

McNeil must move on for the sake of his career
McNeil actually enjoyed one of his strongest-ever league campaigns last season, despite the injury.
The winger netted four goals and provided eight assists for Everton – his best ever return in a Premier League season.
But the options in front of McNeil have vastly improved, and the winger must now decide to continue his career elsewhere.
