Jordan Pickford’s finest Premier League moments in an Everton shirt as milestone emerges
Jordan Pickford reached a significant milestone in Everton’s win against Crystal Palace as the England international reached 300 Premier League appearances for the Toffees.
After arriving from Sunderland in 2017, the 31-year-old has gone on to become a national hero and legendary figure for the Blues.
Pickford has faced criticism in the past, but has been a constant in the Everton goal during a time of such instability.
After cementing himself as such a key player on Merseyside, Goodison News looks back on some of his finest moments in an Everton shirt.

Defiant in first Anfield victory
Everton grabbed a rare win against Liverpool thanks to the heroics of their iconic goalkeeper in 2021.
In the reverse fixture, Pickford was marred with controversy after injuring Virgil van Dijk, which sidelined the defender for the rest of the season.
After talk of Liverpool enacting revenge on the goalkeeper, the Englishman stood tall and kept a clean sheet as the Toffees grabbed their first victory at Anfield since 1999.
Superman in Project Survival
The 2021-22 season saw Everton do battle in one of their first relegation fights for years.
After appointing Rafa Benitez, the former Liverpool boss was sacked in January, leading to Frank Lampard taking control of the Blues.
As the calendar turned to May, Everton were tasked with facing Chelsea and needing a win to keep their survival bid alive.
Richarlison scored the winner, but Pickford pulled off the Premier League‘s save of the season as the Toffees managed to grab a 1-0 win.
Jordan Pickford haunts ex-Everton teammate
In Goodison Park‘s final season with the men’s team, Everton welcomed Newcastle United as Anthony Gordon was greeted with a cacophony of boos.
After having a goal disallowed, the Blues conceded a penalty that Gordon happily stood up to take.
With the Gwadlys Street stood with anticipation, Pickford outfoxed the ex-Everton man and saved his attempt, which sent the ground into pandemonium as both sides battled out a 0-0 draw.
Capping off a historical day
Everton’s first match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium was capped off by their legendary goalkeeper.
After goals from Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner handed the Toffees a 2-0 lead, nerves crept into their new ground when Brighton and Hove Albion were handed a lifeline through the form of a penalty.
Up stepped Danny Welbeck, who failed to trigger a Seagulls comeback as Pickford prevented his attempt from reaching the back of the net, and in turn kept their clean sheet intact.
