Mohammed Kudus ties it up with Jack Grealish as Everton star battles for Premier League crown

Jack Grealish’s start at Everton has been fantastic.

Since coming into the Toffees in the summer, the Manchester City loanee has quickly established himself as one of the best players in David Moyes’ team.

This was on show on Sunday, as Grealish netted the winner against Crystal Palace in added time to give the Toffees a famous victory.

As a result, shouts for Grealish to return to the England set-up continue to get louder as his sensational form continues.

However, down in North London, Mohammed Kudus is also raising eyebrows in the Premier League.

Mohammed Kudus now ties Jack Grealish for Premier League assists

One of the important parts of Grealish’s game at Everton is his creativity.

The winger quickly picked up four assists in the Premier League, hitting this total by the end of August.

If not for Everton’s poor attack, Grealish could easily have more assists, with Beto and Thierno Barry’s form being a big issue for Moyes at present.

Now, after the recent round of Premier League results, Kudus has levelled with Grealish for the most assists in the division this season.

The former West Ham winger joined Tottenham for £55million in the summer, and picked up a goal and an assist on Saturday in a 2-1 victory against Leeds United.

As a result, both winger are not on four assists each, with Tottenham rising to third in the Premier League as they chase the title.

With both wingers lighting up the Premier League early into the season, both will be keen to continue their form after the international break.

According Sofascore on 6 October, Grealish has been the better player so far this campaign, beating Kudus in the majority of creative stats.

Hopefully, in the January transfer window, Everton will look to bring in a clinical striker in order to ensure that Grealish’s performances are translated into more wins.

If so, Europe is not out of the question for Moyes’ side.
