Oliver Glasner joins trio in humiliating Everton stat after late Jack Grealish heroics
Everton’s victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday has sparked plenty of talking points.
The Toffees dramatically came back to win the game 2-1 despite a terrible first-half display.
Carlos Alcaraz proved to be a game-changer for Everton, coming off the bench at half-time and putting in a wonder display.
However, many of the same problems continued to occur, with Thierno Barry putting in a poor performance before he was hooked off at half-time.
In comparison, Oliver Glasner will likely be fuming with the result, as Crystal Palace should have arguably been comfortably in front at half-time.

Oliver Glasner has lost every time he has faced Everton
Going into the match, Crystal Palace were on the verge of a new club record at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Croydon side were on a sensational unbeaten run and were the only team in the Premier League not to lose in the 2025-26 campaign going into Sunday.
This looked set to continue on Sunday, when Daniel Munoz put Palace 1-0 up.
While Everton did have their chances before the opener, the visitors could have easily been three or four goals ahead if not for Jordan Pickford.
Nevertheless, the comeback was completed late on thanks to Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish’s late goals.
Now, according to EFC Statto on 6 October, the defeat means Glasner has joined three other managers in becoming the only coaches to face Everton at least three times and lose every match.
Managers Everton have faced in the league at least 3 times and have a 100% win record against:

AH Albut (4 games, 4 wins)
Bill Rowley (4 games, 4 wins)
Ken Shellito (4 games, 4 wins)

The others are AH Albut, Bill Rowley and Ken Shellito, with each one facing the Toffees four times, and suffering four defeats.
This is no doubt humaliting for Glasner, with the manager now among multiple managers who have not stepped foot in a dugout for decades.
It remains to be seen if the Palace manager is able to shake off this appalling record later in the season.
Everton have an insane recent record against Crystal Palace
Going into Sunday’s match, Everton were unbeaten at home against Palace since 2014.
Now, this record has evidently continued, with David Moyes also achieving plenty of success against the Eagles in recent years.
The fact that Everton managed to overcome one of the most in-form teams in the division speaks volumes, and hopefully, they can use this result to breed confidence after the international break.
