Simon Jordan loses it over ‘self-entitled’ David Moyes actions at Everton
David Moyes has transformed Everton since he returned to Merseyside.
Moyes has his Everton side looking dangerous, with the likes of Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall thriving.
It is a farcry from the misery that Sean Dyche was bringing, and he has fully justified the Friedkin Group‘s decision to rehire him.
However, some observers are not fans of the Scotsman despite the way he has turned the Blues around.

Simon Jordan is not having David Moyes’ criticism of West Ham
West Ham sacked Graham Potter before they faced Everton, bringing former Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo into the dugout.
Moyes criticised the Hammers in his programme notes ahead of the contest for the treatment that he received before his sacking, where he led the press conference before the Hill Dickinson Stadium draw.
However, Simon Jordan has taken exception to that, and does not have any issue with the way that the Irons treated Potter.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 6 October (11:15 am), he said: “Managers have brass necks, they pop up in the boardrooms of others clubs, waiting like cuckoos, to take the job from their so-called manager that they are supporting, their fellow manager that they are looking after.
“We have had this conversation a number of times, this silly self-entitled attitude has got to pack in, this is a wonderful industry, fraught with challenges, fraught with rewards.
“And it comes with the difficulty of if you don’t succeed, maybe you aren’t going to be given a golden chariot out of the door.”
Everton fans will not like what Jordan has said
Moyes obviously does not see eye to eye with the Hammers board, due to the circumstances in which they got rid of him, after he won the 2023 Europa Conference League.
However, Jordan’s claims that he is self-entitled are so far wide of the mark, as he is just looking out for a fellow manager.
- Moyes managed West Ham for 261 matches in two separate spells
- He won their first major trophy in more than 40 years
- He was hounded out due to his tactics being too defensive, a decision the Irons probably regret now
His history with the East London club has absolutely nothing to do with it, he is just sticking up for someone who has been in the same position as his.
If one of his co-hosts was sacked, surely the ex-Crystal Palace owner would do the same, and defend them.
Therefore, Evertonians and the wider public should not listen to what he has to say on this matter, he may have been influenced by his time as an owner, and his take is simply wrong.
