Everton told ‘problem’ needs fixing as fans urged to remain patient
Everton have started the campaign brightly, but one familiar issue still remains.
Everton ended Crystal Palace’s 19-game unbeaten run with a dramatic victory at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on 5 October.
That result leaves Everton in eighth place in the Premier League, in contention for European qualification at the end of the season.
However, a problem that David Moyes is already aware of, may affect his plans to continue that positive start.

Everton still have striking dilemma
Everton’s strikers, Beto and Thierno Barry, have struggled so far this season, with just two goals from the former between them.
However, iconic football commentator Ian Darke believes that Moyes needs to give the new man time to settle.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: “I think for the last six Premier League games, Barry has been on the bench, he has only started two, Beto has started four, so it is Beto’s shirt for the moment.
“I don’t think he has covered himself in glory, I think that position still remains a little bit of a problem for Everton.
“They have got plenty of creativity in behind there now, with Jack Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, they could do with a centre-forward that comes up with more goals.
“That is a kind of leftover problem from last season, they have spent £34million on Barry, this is a settling-in period, but I think they were hoping he would kick on and grab that shirt.
“It just takes a little bit of time, I think people don’t realise all the things that come with moving to a new country, a new setup and a new league.”

Barry struggled against the Eagles after being handed the opening 45 minutes, as the Sofascore graphic above highlights.

David Moyes needs to give Thierno Barry the chance to shine
Coming off the bench all the time is not going to help Barry to adapt to the English game.
The former Villarreal star needs to be handed the starting role on a consistent basis to get himself in a position where he can thrive.
He has already proven his ability to adapt in his time with FC Basel in Switzerland, then with the Yellow Submarine in Spain, he can do the same with the Blues, if he gets the opportunity.
