Everton news round-up: Jack Grealish sends message as David Moyes receives transfer boost
Everton are hoping to have a squad full of fit and firing players for the trip to Manchester City after the international break.
David Moyes‘ side beat Crystal Palace last week, marking the end of a four-game barren run that had seen the Toffees fail to win in September.
But Jack Grealish‘s late winner brought that feel-good feeling back to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and Moyes will hope his squad can carry it into October’s difficult fixtures.
Here, Goodison News rounds up all of the latest Everton news from the last 24 hours.

Jake O’Brien faces fight for Everton future
Jake O’Brien has been in strong form this season and has made the right-back position his, despite joining Everton as a centre-back.
But the Toffees tried to sign Kenny Tete in the summer, clearly seeing the position as an area of potential weakness.
Ian Darke exclusively told Goodison News that O’Brien’s position could be under threat in January, with Everton likely to go back into the market for a right-back.
Iliman Ndiaye stuns for Senegal
Forming a sensational pairing with Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye has been in scintillating form for Everton this season.

The winger was forced to move to the right upon the arrival of the England international, but has not looked out of place for even a moment.
Ndiaye put in a display described as “magnificant” by Senegalese media on Friday, continuing his superb form as the Lions thumped South Sudan 5-0.

Jack Grealish sends message to Dele Alli
Dele Alli looks to be nearing a return to full fitness, after what has been a difficult period for the midfielder.
Since leaving Everton in 2024, the Englishman had a brief spell at Serie A side Como, but was sent off in his only appearance for Cesc Fabregas’ side.
Grealish sent a message of support to Alli after the 29-year-old took to social media to share a video of the steps he is taking to return to full fitness.
Everton receive January transfer boost
Everton will be willing to go all out “if the right player at the right price is available“ in January, according to BBC Sport journalist Giulia Bould.
The Toffees have been linked with a move for a striker, with Gabriel Jesus among the names being considered at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Brazilian is recovering from an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament, and could be available for a cut-price fee from Arsenal.
