Supercomputer predicts outcome of Manchester City vs Everton in Premier League
Everton will travel to Manchester City on Saturday, in the hopes of making it two consecutive Premier League victories.
A late Jack Grealish winner saw Everton beat Crystal Palace 2-1 before the international break, after Daniel Munoz had opened the scoring for the Eagles.
The Toffees had gone four games without winning in September, with doubts starting to engulf David Moyes‘ side.
Chiefly, Everton had faced a debate about Thierno Barry and Beto’s positions in attack, with neither striker managing to convince so far this season.
But, after coming off the bench, Beto was impressive against Crystal Palace, and has shelved that issue for now.

Everton huge underdogs vs Manchester City
Everton have had several stars on international duty over the last week, with some games still to be played, but Moyes will hope his squad returns in good condition.
The trip to Manchester City presents one of the more difficult fixtures of the Toffees’ Premier League season, and defensive security will be of the utmost importance.
Pep Guardiola’s side have not been at their very best this season, already recording losses to Tottenham and Brighton, but have looked to step up in recent weeks.
The Citizens sit fifth in the Premier League and most recently secured a closely contested three points on a tough night away at Brentford.
Opta‘s supercomputer has given the home side a 65.9 per cent chance of extending their winning run to three league games, with 18.5 per cent designated to the chances of a draw.

Everton are the outright underdogs for this fixture, holding just a 15.6 per cent chance of victory.

James Tarkowski and Michael Keane to face toughest test
Guardiola was recently asked about reports linking Erling Haaland away from Manchester City.
The Spaniard simply replied: “Can you tell me one club who will not have Erling Haaland as a dream?“
And he is absolutely right. The striker has been in scintillating form this season, notching nine goals in his seven Premier League appearances so far.
Erling Haaland | Premier League 2025-26 |
Appearances | 7 |
Goals | 9 |
Expected goals (xG) | 7.71 |
Shots | 29 |
On target | 14 |
Assists | 1 |
Unbelievably, the forward, including international fixtures, has not gone a game without scoring since the end of August, scoring a ridiculous 19 goals in just 10 games over that period.
On Saturday, Haaland scored a hat-trick against Israel in the World Cup qualifiers, his second of the season already.
Michael Keane and James Tarkowski will now have the unenviable task of trying to stop the Norway international in his tracks, and it will undoubtedly be their toughest proposition of the season.
