This is the Everton sensation catching the eye at Finch Farm who could star for David Moyes
Everton are set to be the beneficiary of several young players currently making waves in the youth set-up at Finch Farm, with hopes of making it into the first team.
Harrison Armstrong was loaned to Preston at the end of the transfer window, and the midfielder is enjoying a superb start to the season in the Championship.
The England youth international is considered among the Toffees’ very best, and will hope to make his way into the first team on a more consistent basis next season.
Braiden Graham has impressed for Everton’s academy and is thought to be a potential option through the centre of the attack in future years.
Young goalkeeper Douglass Lukjanciks has also starred for the Everton Under-18s and is considered a potential future successor to Jordan Pickford.

Amari Moses named best Everton talent
Amari Moses trained with the Everton first team at the start of September, with the young midfielder starting to make a name for himself at Finch Farm.
Capable of playing across the front line and in midfield, the youngster has already become a regular for the Under-18s, despite turning just 16 in January.
Everton debutants | Age at debut |
Thierry Small | 16 years, 5 months, 23 days |
Jose Baxter | 16 years, 6 months, 9 days |
Jake Bidwell | 16 years, 8 months, 26 days |
James Vaughan | 16 years, 8 months, 27 days |
Joe Royal | 16 years, 9 months, 7 days |
Moses had made his debut for the side last season, providing an assist in just his third appearance, but this season, he has looked to become key.
Everton‘s future plan for his development is unclear, but David Moyes will have been keeping a keen eye on the talented teenager.
Such is his talent, Moses was selected as part of The Guardian‘s Next Generation 2025, which looks at the best youngsters at each Premier League club born between September 2008 and August 2009.
Andy Hunter wrote: “Manchester sports club Moston Tigers has proven a fertile ground for young talent, and Moses is one of several players to have been snapped up by a Premier League academy in recent years.
“A creative, attacking player with excellent technique, he joined Everton at the age of eight along with Tigers teammate and fellow midfielder Malik Olayiwola.
“Moses is a direct runner and energetic presence who has caught the eye with his goals and assists.
“He can play in any position across the front line and is expected to establish himself with Everton’s Under-18s this season, having already made four appearances at that level.”
Moses could make his debut sooner than realised
Just a decade ago, the idea of a player making their debut at the age of 16 was extremely rare, or even unheard of.
But now, young players appear to be getting the chance at younger and younger ages.
The likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman at Arsenal, who made their Premier League debuts both aged just 15, have inspired a wave of teenage stars throughout the league.
Moses could well be the next, should he continue to impress as he currently is.
