Iliman Ndiaye rivals Mohamed Salah as new announcement made away from Everton
Iliman Ndiaye is finally getting recognised for his brilliant Everton performances.
Ndiaye has been a class above for Everton, shining brighter than everyone but Jack Grealish, who has taken most of the credit since his loan move.
While Grealish has notched five goal contributions, the Senegal star is just behind him with four, despite playing in an unfamiliar role on the right flank.
Ndiaye was linked with an Everton exit in the summer, but he remained at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and is thriving at the moment, as shown by his stats against Manchester City, per Sofascore .

Iliman Ndiaye nominated for top African award
Everton ace Ndiaye has already been given lots of plaudits, for his impressive start to the campaign for the Blues.
He has now been nominated for the CAF African Player of the Year award, alongside the likes of Mohamed Salah and Achraf Hakimi, after helping Senegal qualify for the World Cup.
Other big names who are up for the honour are Victor Oshimen, Tottenham’s Pape Matar Sarr and Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy.
No date has been announced for the ceremony at the moment.

Does Everton star Ndiaye have any chance of winning the award?
The realistic answer is probably no, unfortunately, for the Toffees ace.
Salah won the Premier League and finished fourth in the Ballon d’Or voting, while Hakimi won the Champions League and came sixth for that award.
- Salah scored 34 goals and assisted 23 goals last season
- Hakimi scored 11 and assisted 16 goals as his side won the biggest European trophy
- Ndiaye notched nine goals and no assists for the Blues
Therefore, it seems like a long shot for the 25-year-old to have any chance of winning the prestigious gong, over the Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain stars.
Former Blues star Daniel Amokachi finished third in the same award in 1995, but no Toffees player has ever won it.
However, Ndiaye will likely not be the first to do so, as he did not achieve as much as the higher-profile nominees.
If he continues his current form though, he may be right up there again, the next time the award comes around.
