Everton scouts in attendance for Champions League clash abroad, this may be who they looked at
David Moyes could be set for some new players in January with speculation heating up.
After Everton‘s impressive start to the season, Moyes will be looking to add to his ranks ahead of a push for European football next season.
Jack Grealish has been a revelation for Everton since joining on loan from Manchester City, but he was only one of a couple of signings that the Toffees made in the summer.
Everton have already been linked with Anthony Caci, who plays for Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga, as latest reports suggest scouts are now exploring in Turkey.

Everton are monitoring an unknown Galatasaray player
Galatasaray are giants in Turkiye, and Toffees fans will already be aware that Liverpool were defeated in the Champions League by the Turkish outfit.
Everton are European hopefuls and will continue to fight to be able to play in big matches like Galatasaray do, but in doing so, they may have to steal someone from the Turkish side.
On Thursday morning, Turkish outlet Saba reported in their print edition that European clubs, including Everton, are monitoring their players.
Top Galatasaray stars:
- Victor Osimhen
- Leroy Sane
- Gabriel Sara
The article shared that the Champions League has become an easy port of access for clubs to monitor Galatasaray players.
Everton, Wolves and Stuttgart are all said to have had eyes present for Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Bodo/Glimt, which Gala won 3-1.

And one player stood out in that match – one of which has been linked with Everton in recent times.
Everton may be keeping tabs on Davinson Sanchez
Former Tottenham defender, Davinson Sanchez, featured at the heart of Galatasaray’s side on Wednesday night.
Sanchez was close to joining Everton last summer, but the deal didn’t materialise as Jarrad Branthwaite and James Tarkowski carried the Toffees through the entirety of the 2024-25 campaign.
Reports this summer also suggested a deal could be on the cards.
| Minutes | Tackles (won) | Clearances | Rating |
| 90 | 3 (3) | 8 | 6.9 |
Now, with Branthwaite injured for Everton, it would make sense for Moyes to have scouts look at Sanchez.
Sanchez is a proven Premier League-quality defender, and could be a replacement for Branthwaite should the young defender’s injury keep him out long-term.
