Roy Keane shakes his head at what he’s seen at Tottenham ahead of Everton prediction

Everton face Tottenham in the Premier League at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday.

The Toffees are unbeaten at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this season, and David Moyes is looking to propel his side into European contention again.

Everton’s 2-0 defeat to Man City leaves them 12th in the Premier League table, and a win over Thomas Frank’s Tottenham would lift them back into the top half.

Tottenham have struggled in recent matches, and Roy Keane has taken that into account when looking into the showdown on Merseyside.

Roy Keane in disbelief over Tottenham loss vs Aston Villa

Tottenham come into Sunday’s clash in bad form, having lost 2-1 to Aston Villa on 19 October in the Premier League.

Speaking on The Overlap podcast on 23 October, Keane questioned Spurs’ defending during Emiliano Buendia’s wonderful winning goal for Villa when looking ahead to the Everton game.

Keane shook his head after he said: “Who would have thought Villa would win? Did you see their second goal?”

Jill Scott added: “Jack Grealish is coming back after missing the Man City game, I’m going for Everton 2-2 Tottenham,” with Keane and Ian Wright in agreement on the prediction.

Everton’s head-to-head record against Tottenham:

Everton don’t have a great overall record against Spurs, yet after their opponents drew to Monaco 0-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday, Moyes’s side will fancy their chances.

As they remain unbeaten in their last seven home matches against Tottenham, Everton are predicted to beat Spurs on Sunday.

A win for the Toffees would see them go level on points with their opposition, with fans feeling optimistic ahead of the match.

Jack Grealish was unavailable to face Man City, yet his return to the starting line-up will have a massive impact on how Everton play against Tottenham.

Jack Grealish’s return is a huge boost for Everton

Grealish has been electric for Everton since joining on loan from Man City in the summer.

The 30-year-old winger has found a new lease of life in Merseyside, and he’s struck up a brilliant partnership with Iliman Ndiaye.

Having been named the August Premier League Player of the Month for registering four assists in his first two starts for Everton, Grealish will add another level of quality to the team on Sunday.

Tottenham haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last four Premier League games, and Grealish’s magic on the left wing could lead the Toffees to another brilliant win at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
