David Moyes can extend impressive seven-year run when Everton clash with Tottenham
Everton take on Tottenham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday, as David Moyes attempts to provoke a response from his team.
Manchester City beat Everton 2-0 last week, on what was ultimately a disappointing day for the Toffees.
Beto missed a glorious chance for the lead against Manchester City, the striker somehow deflecting Iliman Ndiaye‘s cross wide despite being mere meters away from goal.
And that would be the best of it for Moyes‘ side, who were downed when Erling Haaland scored two goals within five second-half minutes at the Etihad.
But Everton are the favourites against Tottenham on Sunday, and will hope to get back to winning ways.

Everton boast strong home record vs Tottenham
Everton are attempting to make the Hill Dickinson Stadium into a fortress, and are currently experiencing their best start to a Premier League season at home since 2016-17.
Much like Goodison Park was, the Toffees’ new home is quickly earning a reputation for its intimidating atmosphere and intense football.

Crystal Palace found that out when their 19-game unbeaten streak was ended by Jack Grealish‘s last-minute winner.
But the Hill Dickinson Stadium still has some way to go to replicate what Goodison Park represented for travelling teams.
The old ground felt like a bear pit at times, with the noise and the way Everton responded to that noise, creating issues for even the very best of teams.

Tottenham struggled with it over the years and have not beaten Everton at home since December 2018.
Moyes will hope the Hill Dickinson Stadium can take over that record and extend it to beyond seven years on Sunday.
Everton were crushed by Tottenham in 2018
The last time Everton lost at home to Tottenham will not be a day that lives fondly in the Toffees’ memories.
Son Heung-min and Harry Kane both bagged braces, with Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli also adding to the 6-2 scoreline.
It was an embarrassment for Everton, and a day that many would gladly erase from their memories. But in the years since, the Toffees have always provided a problem for Tottenham at home, facing them seven times without defeat.
That run can extend to eight games on Sunday, and Moyes will be aiming to add a second win.
