Everton fans made their feelings clear with David Moyes after what they did from stands vs Sunderland

Everton fans will be frustrated at the nature of their draw to Sunderland in the Premier League on Monday night.

Iliman Ndiaye scored a stunning solo goal, which gave the Toffees the lead early in the first half at the Stadium of Light, as Everton drew 1-1 with Sunderland.

Striker issues were again on display as Thierno Barry missed a golden chance for Everton that may have helped take all three points back to Merseyside.

However, despite some poor individual performances for Everton, Bluenoses directed some of the frustration at David Moyes.

Everton fans kept chanting for Carlos Alcaraz

Moyes opted to start Barry up front with Ndiaye and Jack Grealish on either side of him, as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sat behind the striker.

Carlos Alcaraz sat on the bench once again for the Toffees, as Everton fans wanted the Argentine to come on.

Journalist Patrick Boyland was at the game and took to X to share that Everton fans had been singing Alcaraz’s name through the second half.

Everton fans were most likely sending a message to Moyes to switch things up.

Everton next play Fulham in the Premier League, as Alcaraz needs to start now more than ever.

David Moyes needs to re-jig his attacking choices

Moyes tends to opt for his typical 4-2-3-1 formation, which is fine, but Everton are so clearly in need of a change up top.

Beto can’t find the back of the net, and Barry arguably cost the Toffees the game yesterday, but there is something Moyes can do.

Moyes needs to start with Ndiaye up top for the Blues against Fulham, as he again showed why he is Everton’s most clinical attacker.

The move would then leave space for Alcaraz to play on the right, and if Ndiaye were to get half the chances Beto and Barry get, he would score for fun.
