Insane David Moyes record shows why Everton are destined to beat Fulham

Everton are set to host Fulham on Saturday, with David Moyes only losing two of his last 17 meetings against the London side.

The record dates back to 2010 according to Transfermarkt on 5 November, with the Scotsman overseeing victories at the Toffees, Manchester United and West Ham against the Cottagers.

Now, after a series of awful Everton performances, Moyes is in need of a win to propel his side back up the Premier League table.

Given this data, a victory now looks more likely than ever.

David Moyes has won 11 of his last 17 matches against Fulham

In recent times, Moyes record against Fulham is excellent.

The Scotsman has overseen multiple big and important victories over the London club, including a 4-0 win as Everton manager in 2014, and more recently, a 3-1 win over Fulham last season.

However, in his last three meetings against the Cottagers, there have been two defeats, including a massive 5-0 loss when he was West Ham manager.

Nevertheless, given the record Moyes has, and Fulham’s inconsistent start to the season, a victory is surely destined on Saturday.

Everton are already favourites to beat Fulham, and these stats only emphasise why this is the case.

In comparison, Everton have an awful recent record against Fulham.

The Toffees have only won one of their last eight games against the London club, coming last season when Moyes took charge.

Before this, they had lost four out of seven matches, drawing the other three.

Therefore, Moyes will have to work his magic on the weekend to ensure this dreadful run of form is a past memory rather than an impending trend.

Hopefully, the Toffees will be boosted with another important victory before the November international break.
