David Moyes can take major step towards saving Everton job by exploiting woeful Fulham record

David Moyes can take a major step towards saving his job at Everton this weekend.

The Toffees are currently enduring a run of just one win in their last seven Premier League games, which has quickly put paid to the positive feeling surrounding the team at the start of the season.

Frustration is growing towards Moyes from the Everton supporters, who showed plenty of signs of unrest during the 1-1 draw away at Sunderland on Monday night.

The Scot has another crucial game on the horizon on Saturday, when Fulham are the visitors to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Fulham have lost four consecutive league games away from home

Everton may not risk Iliman Ndiaye against Fulham, after he was forced off during the draw with Sunderland through injury.

The Senegal international’s problem is not thought to be anything too serious, but Saturday’s game could still come too soon for him to make an impact, especially from the start.

The timing of the winger’s injury could not have been much worse for Moyes and his team, given that they face a hugely winnable game on home turf against Fulham.

Fulham’s away record in the Premier League in 2025-26.

Marco Silva’s side are currently sat just one place and one point below Everton in 15th, amid a start to the season that has continuously seen them take one step forward followed by two steps back.

The Cottagers are excellent on their own patch, but they have a woeful away record that Moyes must surely be looking to exploit this weekend.

Fulham have lost four consecutive league games on the road, with their opening day draw at Brighton the last time they managed to avoid defeat on their travels.

Everton will be desperate to see that record continue this time around, as it could be set to hand them a vital three points in the context of their season, and help to ease some of the pressure on their manager.

Everton haven’t beaten Fulham at home since 2018

Beto delivered a rare masterclass for Everton in their last meeting with Fulham, as they won 3-1 at Craven Cottage back in May.

However, aside from that victory, their recent fortunes against the West London outfit have been anything but favourable.

That is the Toffees’ only victory in their last eight clashes in all competitions, while you have to go back to 2018 to find the last time that Everton beat Fulham on Merseyside.

That is one record that Moyes will be desperate to set straight this weekend, and if he isn’t able to, then the pressure from the fanbase will only continue to build.
