Everton fans to love what Harry Maguire just said about Jordan Pickford

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire knows what Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is all about, having played together with England.

The 31-year-old is arguably one of the most underrated players in the Premier League, as rival fans don’t usually consider him among the best.

Wayne Rooney recently suggested Pickford deserves more recognition, but it doesn’t look like the 31-year-old is bothered as he continues to put in impressive performances for the Toffees.

David Moyes has Mark Travers at his disposal, but the England international has cemented his place in between the sticks in L4.

Harry Maguire picks Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in dream five-a-side team

Maguire has picked Pickford as his goalkeeper in his dream five-a-side team, with former Toffees defender John Stone also included.

The defender has also gone with Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes to be part of the dream team of players he’s played with during his career.

Bayern Munich striker and England teammate Harry Kane is the final member of Maguire’s side, showcasing the quality of players he has played with.

Fans in L4 will certainly love the Man United centre-back’s choices as the Three Lions’ number one has finally received just recognition.

Pickford recently signed a new contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, keeping him at the Merseyside outfit until 2029.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the shot-stopper end his career at the Blues, having signed for them in 2017 from Sunderland.

Jordan Pickford key as David Moyes has clear goals at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Supporters expect a lot from Moyes after signing Jack Grealish, but their ambitions aren’t being reflected in the league table.

Everton are 14th in the Premier League after 10 matches, but there have been signs of progress from last season as the Manchester City loanee and Iliman Ndiaye have brought excitement to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Scottish manager’s primary concern will certainly be the team’s lack of goals, with Beto and Thierno Barry failing to establish themselves as reliable strikers.

With the Toffees failing to find the back of the net regularly, Pickford’s continued heroics in between the sticks will undoubtedly play a massive role in possibly achieving European qualification for next season.
