Everton to benefit as £5.5bn redevelopment plans take a step closer to fruition
Everton are set to repeat the benefits of their new stadium once again in the near future.
Everton are already expecting increased revenues, given the expanded capacity and the ability to hold concerts in the state-of-the-art ground.
Commercial deals that the Friedkin Group have struck with the likes of Pepsi and Budweiser, as well as expanded corporate packages, will play their part in that, too.
After years of financial turmoil under Farhad Moshiri, it seems like things are only set to get better for the Toffees.

Liverpool Waters scheme to benefit Everton amid new developments
Everton are expected to benefit from the £5.5billion Liverpool Waters development that is set to transform the area surrounding the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Construction work has begun on the Central Docks part of the project, with that work expected to be completed by 2028.
Finance expert Dan Plumley believes that it will bring extra income in for the Blues, and they will benefit from it.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: “Yeah, it can, and this was part of the bigger play for them about putting it there.
“It was an iconic location, but also there was room for expansion that they could see, in and around the region as well.
“You would be looking at how they can leverage that, so if there is commercial space going in there, is that something they could join up with their commercial partners on?
“Do some of those partners, potentially more local ones, choose to have office space there? You have the tourism and hospitality angle to that as well, you’ve got people that might be coming and spending money in that area.
“Bars, restaurants, hotels, etc, hoping that some of that, this is where you can leverage it to funnel through to the club, the non-matchday use of the stadium and the club shop, then becomes important.
“There is loads of ways in which that creates footfall in and around the ground, and that is heightened on matchday, so it is absolutely something that Everton can benefit from and will benefit from, there will be a strategy they can look to put forward for how they engage on what is going on in that area.
“That can be beneficial for all parties, yeah.”

What is the Liverpool Waters project?
The Liverpool Waters project is a 30-year plan to redevelop the city’s northern docks area,
It is split into five different neighbourhoods: Central Docks, Clarence Docks, King Edward Triangle, Princes Dock and Northern Docks, which should create up to 2,350 new houses in the region.
Perhaps more importantly for the Blues, it should vastly increase the footfall around their new home.
Right now, there is not much going on around the stadium, but if there is residential and commercial spaces in the area, it should boost the club coffers, as Plumley asserts.
