Jamie Carragher predicts seven-year first for Everton with Fulham prediction
Jamie Carragher has predicted Everton to come out on top when they face Fulham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this weekend.
Everton’s wins against Brighton and Crystal Palace sent the fans into delirium, and they have adapted to their new home brilliantly after leaving the historic Goodison Park.
However, the Everton lost 3-0 to Tottenham in their last match at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and David Moyes will be hoping for a better display this weekend.
Up next for Everton is a clash versus Fulham, who have struggled to gain momentum in the top flight this season.
Everton haven’t beaten Fulham at home in seven years, yet Jamie Carragher believes that this long-awaited win could come on Saturday.

Jamie Carragher predicts Everton to beat Fulham
Fulham come into the match having beaten 20th-placed Wolves 3-0 at Craven Cottage, yet they currently sit 15th in the table, just one point and one position below the Toffees.
It represents a great chance for Everton to close the gap on the European places, yet with their previous record against the visitors not being promising in the slightest, Moyes will have to change things drastically if they are to get a result.
Carragher predicted Everton to win 2-0 on Saturday in his Super 6 prediction column, and said: “Everton need a win after one point from their last three games, and they should beat a struggling Fulham side at home.”
Everton’s all-time record vs Fulham:
- Wins: 32
- Draws: 16
- Losses: 24
Roy Keane expects a draw from Everton’s clash versus Fulham, yet even that would be progress following their poor run of form in October.
Not only would Carragher’s prediction mark Everton’s first win against the Cottagers since their 3-0 win in 2018, but it would hugely boost their ambitions of a top-half finish.
One of their key issues has been their inability to put away clear-cut chances, and Thierno Barry should be given another chance instead of Beto up front.

Beto’s character is exemplary for the Toffees, but unfortunately, he is a huge detriment to their results.

Beto’s goalscoring woes are costing Everton
Beto has missed glorious opportunities in most matches this season, underperforming his expected goals by a total of 2.71.
In the opening minutes of the Tottenham defeat, he wildly swung at a shot from six yards out, and the miss went on to cost the side massively.
Barry is clearly young and perhaps too raw for consistent Premier League football at the moment, yet there is no argument to suggest that Beto should regain his starting spot.
Fulham haven’t kept a clean sheet in the Premier League away from home since January, and Barry must be given the opportunity over Beto to score his first goal for Everton.
