Carlos Alcaraz looks ‘mustard’ at Finch Farm despite latest Everton snub vs Fulham in new reveal
David Moyes got Everton back to winning ways at the perfect time on Saturday.
Everton beat Fulham 2-0 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, easing fan concerns over where the Toffees may finish in the Premier League this year.
It had been a rough couple of weeks from an Everton perspective, and although they were the favourites to beat Fulham on 8 November, the win cannot be overlooked.
However, the win has come at the expense of Carlos Alcaraz, as Moyes once again opted against starting the forward, and failed to hand him a single minute against the Cottagers.
Carlos Alcaraz cannot do any better amid Finch Farm reports
There have been calls for Alcaraz to start for Everton, especially since the Toffees have had their attacking issues.
Thierno Barry has struggled for goals at Everton, as Beto is looking increasingly likely to leave Merseyside in January, which makes Alcaraz’s absence a mystery.

Sky Sports journalist Ben Grounds was at Finch Farm on Friday and claimed that Alcaraz looked “mustard” while commenting on X, making his absence even stranger.
He wrote: “Alcaraz looking mustard in training on Friday, only for him not to get a minute bodes well.
“There’s a healthy competition for places, certainly in midfield, which Everton have previously lacked. Moyes couldn’t pick Garner at right-back without opting for Iroegbunam’s profile.”
From Everton’s point of view, it’s great that competition for places is high; however, with Alcaraz’s quality deserving of game time, a big decision needs to be made ahead of January.

David Moyes does not trust Alcaraz
Alcaraz joined Everton permanently in the summer after initially impressing Moyes on loan during the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.
The fact that the Argentine has been so limited to game time just makes the transfer seem even more strange, as there has to be a reason as to why Alcaraz is not playing.
Iliman Ndiaye has shown his brilliant finishing ability, and Moyes could play him as the number nine to accommodate Alcaraz out wide, but he is stubborn with his approach to strikers.
There’s no doubt that Alcaraz will not be happy with his current playing opportunities, having only totalled two starts and 244 minutes.
Everton may have to make a big call in January, as Alcaraz could seek a move away, but he just has to keep doing what he’s doing at Finch Farm.
