Jack Grealish achieves staggering Premier League first this season in Everton win vs Fulham

Jack Grealish has lit up the Premier League with his flair and creativity since his move to Everton in the summer transfer window.

Having signed on loan from Man City, the England international has been given a new lease of life in L4.

At Everton, Grealish is finally regaining the confidence that saw him touted as one of England’s most promising talents when he was at Aston Villa.

Grealish was the Premier League’s Player of the Month in August, having registered four assists in his opening two matches for the Toffees.

Following Everton’s 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, the 30-year-old has become the first player to achieve a notable milestone in several Premier League metrics.

The 30-year-old spent three years at Manchester City and helped them win the treble in 2022-23; however, he was left frustrated in the last two seasons due to a lack of minutes.

However, he has set the Hill Dickinson Stadium alight with his trickery on the left wing, and it’s a testament to his character that he’s performing at the level we know he can achieve.

Despite popular belief, Grealish doesn’t mind getting involved with the defensive aspect of the game, winning three duels and making two recoveries as Everton got back to winning ways at home.

Grealish has not featured for England since November 2024, and his form has come at the perfect time, with the 2026 World Cup just eight months away.

Jack Grealish in contention to make England squad for 2026 World Cup

The England squad is absolutely packed with world-class attackers who have been performing consistently for many years.

Whilst no English winger may be more in-form than Grealish at the moment, many England attackers have proven their worth for the Three Lions in recent times.

Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer are guaranteed to be picked, whilst Anthony Gordon, Jarrod Bowen, and Marcus Rashford have all been frequently called up to the England squad.

Thomas Tuchel has left Grealish out of the last three England squads, and there’s not much more he can do for Everton to put himself in the England mix.

The only thing he can do is to keep working hard, and if the performances continue, Tuchel will have no choice but to call him up for the March internationals.
