Which Everton stars can join Jordan Pickford at 2026 World Cup in November international break
Everton have multiple players who could join Jordan Pickford at the 2026 World Cup with wins in the November international break.
Jack Grealish will be hoping to make England’s World Cup squad, but was unfortunate not to receive a call-up by Thomas Tuchel this time around.
Pickford has been excellent for Everton once again this season, as his spot in the Three Lions travelling squad should already be cemented.
Idrissa Gana Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye have been called up for Senegal’s upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Kenya, as the Everton duo already helped their country qualify for the World Cup.
However, Goodison News takes a look at the other Everton stars who could cement their place in the 2026 World Cup with wins in the coming weeks.

Five Everton stars can join Jordan Pickford with World Cup qualification
Nine of Everton’s men’s senior team players have been called up for November’s international fixtures, including Tyler Dibling, who will feature for England’s U21 squad.
Everton are hopeful of achieving European football this season, and David Moyes will be praying that his men come back unscathed ahead of a push for the Toffees to climb the Premier League table.
Apart from Dibling, Gueye, and Ndiaye, Everton have six remaining players who are set to feature in their nation’s upcoming World Cup qualifier matches.
| Game | Competition | Date | Player(s) |
| – Republic of Ireland vs Portugal – Hungary vs Republic of Ireland | FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier | -13 November -16 November | Seamus Coleman, Jake O’Brien, Mark Travers |
| – France vs Ukraine – Ukraine vs Iceland | FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier | -13 November -16 November | Vitaliy Mykolenko |
| – Liechtenstein vs Wales – Wales vs North Macedonia | FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier | – 15 November – 18 November | Tom King |
Pickford and England have already qualified, which leaves a remaining five Blues players who need to qualify.
Vitaliy Mykolenko can qualify directly with Ukraine if they win their final two games to finish above France. His nation currently sits three points behind France, second in Group D.
Everton’s Irish trio Jake O’Brien, Seamus Coleman, and Mark Travers can still mathematically qualify for the World Cup this month, but have to hope their country wins both of their games, including one against Portugal.
Ireland then needs Portugal to lose both of their games, in hopes they can finish above Cristiano Ronaldo’s side on goal difference.

Everton’s third-choice goalkeeper, Tom King, can help Wales qualify for the World Cup in November if they can win both of their games.
However, qualification would still depend on the two teams above his nation in Belgium and North Macedonia, as Wales currently sits third in Group J.
The two Everton stars who desperately need to perform for their countries
Mykolenko has received criticism for his performances this season, as left-back is an area Moyes could look to improve in the January market.
O’Brien was also left out of Everton’s starting line-up in their 2-0 win against Fulham on Saturday, as Moyes saw midfielder James Garner as a more viable option to play in right-back.
The full-back area is emerging as a clear area that the Toffees need to improve, as Everton have been tipped to sign Anthony Caci, a defender from the Bundesliga.
Mykolenko and O’Brien need to find form fast, and helping their nations secure a spot at the 2026 World Cup would be the perfect way to return to Finch Farm
