Alan Myers has shared via his X account that the new ground will host five matches across the tournament, with four coming in the group stage and one in the round of 16.
Everton appear to have hit the jackpot as a result of that decision, both in terms of the prestige and the financial benefits that it will provide.

The stadium and all its bars, food outlets and hospitality areas will likely be set for an additional five sell-outs on top of the club games that campaign, which will certainly provide a welcome boost to the club’s finances.
