The Hill Dickinson Stadium has already become iconic among the Everton faithful.

Everton departed Goodison Park last year, after over a century of football to move to their new ground.

However, this has already paid off, with David Moyes’ side remaining unbeaten at the Hill Dickinson Stadium so far.

With tunes such as the Z-Cars anthem being played around Everton’s new stadium, it is already feeling like their home for years to come.

Below, Goodison News has provided information about how to get to the stadium via car, bus or train.

How to get to Hill Dickinson Stadium by car

The Hill Dickinson Stadium is located at Bramley-Moore Dock, around two miles from Liverpool’s city centre.

With a postcode of L5 9SR, typing this into a satnav or a map app on your phone should give you directions.

If you are travelling to Liverpool to reach the stadium, you’d have to get onto the A59 before getting on the A565.

On a matchday, you are not advised to drive directly to the stadium due to road closures and parking restrictions.

With parking enforcement in operation in the industrial and residential streets surrounding the ground, supporters are advised to use the car parks in the city centre or Bootle Strand.

  • Prices at the Bootle Strand are priced between £1.80-£7.50
  • Opening and closing times can vary on matchday
  • The car park can hold up to 500 vehicles

There are also plenty of park and ride’s available throughout the city, which can help combat the limited spaces.

How to get to Hill Dickinson Stadium by public transport

For anyone looking to travel to the stadium by train, the nearest station is Sandhills, which is around a 15-minute walk to the stadium.

Alternatively, there is a shuttle bus that runs between the station and the ground pre- and post-match. Supporters must book their ticket in advance.

On top of this, there are plenty of other bus routes fans can take.

The 918, 919, 929 and 939 all have stops at the ground, and fans can also be picked up after the match.
