Tony Bellew prays on Iliman Ndiaye transfer hope, Everton forward does something no one else does

Tony Bellew hopes Iliman Ndiaye doesn’t leave Everton in the winter transfer window.

The former boxer has raved about the Senegal international’s quality, who has stood out for the Toffees this season.

Ndiaye is being linked with an exit from the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see top teams around Europe paying big bucks after his four goals and one assist in 11 Premier League matches.

Jack Grealish has been another standout star for David Moyes, but the former Olympique Marseille star has arguably been more influential with his impact in the current campaign.

Everton have proper team player in Iliman Ndiaye

Ndiaye’s willingness to defend is something Bellew hasn’t seen from any Premier League player.

The ex-WBC cruiserweight champion has been mesmerised by the 25-year-old’s determination and fight to win every single ball.

Since the Senegalese forward’s move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium last summer, he has been a key player for them.

Speaking on talkSPORT on 17 November, Bellew said: “Ndiaye is just next level. I’m just praying none of these vultures come calling for him at Christmas time. He’s so exciting to watch. I haven’t seen a player in the Premier League who’s got a willingness to defend as much as he has to get forward.”

The former boxer added: “And he wants to fight for every ball, every challenge and then he wants to tear the back of everyone. He wants to get stuck in, to take people on, to win. He’s a breath of fresh air. Since he walked in the door, he’s been fantastic.”

Moyes is determined to keep Ndiaye beyond this season, and fans in L4 will hope he continues to play a role in their success for years to come.

Iliman Ndiaye reality bleak at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Juventus are among the teams eyeing Ndiaye, but The Friedkin Group have made it clear they won’t sell him in 2027.

Everton will surely have to face reality at some point, with the Senegal international surely eager to compete for major honours.

The forward turns 26 in March, and it would be surprising to see him spend his prime years at the Merseyside outfit if he has a chance to win titles at other top teams.

Fans in L4 will definitely acknowledge the bleak reality when it comes to Ndiaye, and only time will tell how his situation unfolds.
