Manchester United vs Everton: Weather update, ticket information, away fan guide

Everton face a difficult trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United in the Premier League on Monday.

Manchester United are the favourites against Everton, with the Red Devils unbeaten in their last five Premier League games.

Ruben Amorim’s side had endured a torrid start to the season, but recent performances have seen a turnaround in form.

Everton beat Fulham 2-0 before the international break, ending a difficult run of their own.

David Moyes had faced some questions surrounding his future, but with Everton predicted to finish 13th in the Premier League and back on track, those calls have quietened down.

Rain expected for Manchester United vs Everton

With winter well and truly here, Everton fans travelling to Old Trafford can expect a cold and dreary night off the pitch.

BBC Weather expects light rain and light winds, with the temperature expected around eight degrees at kick-off.

Manchester City 2-0 Everton
Liverpool 2-1 Everton
Wolves 2-3 Everton

The 91 per cent chance of rain may well help the Toffees on the pitch, however, with Moyes’ side hoping to make it an uncomfortable night for Manchester United.

Ticket information for Manchester United away

Everton have sold out their away allocation for the trip to Manchester United.

Around 3,000 Toffees will make the trip from Merseyside, with the 74,197 capacity of Old Trafford expected to be reached in a sell-out.

Away fans are situated in the corner in between the east and south stands, with safe standing available in the upper and lower tiers.

Guide for away fans travelling to Old Trafford

Fans are advised against driving around the stadium on matchdays, with road closures and traffic making it difficult to navigate.

There is access to car parks E1 and E2, however, which can be found via Wharfside Way with the relevant permits.

Fans getting the train to Manchester Piccadilly Station can get to the ground by several modes of public transport.

The Purple Line tram goes from the station to Old Trafford Tram Stop, while the Blue Line to Pomona is also in walking distance.

Fans can also take the 250 bus to Charlotte Street, or the 263 bus to Chester Road/Warwick Road.
