David Moyes axes summer signing in one change – Everton predicted XI vs Manchester United

Everton are set to take on Manchester United on Monday in their first game back after the international break.

Travelling to Old Trafford, Man United are the overwhelming favourites against Everton, with Ruben Amorim’s side returning to form in recent weeks.

While David Moyes was able to mastermind a 2-0 victory over Fulham before the international break, it would still be a massive task if the Toffees are to get anything next week.

Now, despite winning their last outing, the Scotsman will likely edit his starting XI for the upcoming Premier League clash.

Thierno Barry should be dropped for Beto vs Man United

Going into the match, it is unlikely that Moyes will make many changes to his lineup.

The backline is likely to remain the same after the clean sheet against Fulham.

Therefore, Jordan Pickford starts in goal, with James Garner at right-back, James Tarkowski and Michael Keane at centre-back, with Vitalii Mykolenko completing the defence at left-back.

Into midfield, and Tim Iroegbunam’s fantastic performance in the victory over Fulham should keep his place in the starting XI.

The midfielder is expected to be partnered with Idrissa Gana Gueye, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in front of the midfield two.

On the wings, Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye remain in the team.

Up top, Thierno Barry will surely be dropped after another goalless performance against Fulham.

In his place comes Beto, who, despite his poor displays this season, has actually scored a Premier League goal.

Beto has a solid record vs Man United

While Beto may be regularly slammed for his performances this season, he actually has a solid record against the Red Devils.

In the three matches he has faced the Manchester side, he has actually scored, netting the opener in Everton’s 2-2 draw last season.

This will surely give him confidence going into the match that he will be capable of repeating this feat on Monday.

The striker is in dire need of a goal, and if he can get it at Old Trafford, it might be able to put his season back on track.
