Everton can land their own Bruno Guimaraes as £35m transfer update drops ahead of January
Everton could land a January signing to replicate the work of Bruno Guimaraes at Newcastle United.
Manchester United are set to play host to Everton in the Premier League as the Toffees return to Premier League action after the international break.
David Moyes will have full focus on his side as Everton prepare to face Man United two weeks after their 2-0 win against Fulham last time around.
There will still be transfer activity bubbling under the surface with both Gabriel Jesus and Joshua Zirkzee already linked to Everton.
Striker appears to be a position in need of improvement, but a midfielder in the style of Guimaraes could also be on the cards at the Hill Dickinson Stadium

Everton could move for Conor Gallagher in January
Everton have been linked to Gallagher in the past and could soon reignite their interest in the Englishman when the winter window opens.
The midfielder has proven to be a bit-part player in LaLiga under Diego Simeone and could be on the move in January.
Sky Sports reported on 24 November that Premier League clubs are expected to be queuing up for his signature once the window opens.
Atleti aren’t necessarily interested in a loan move in January, so could demand a fee similar to the £35million they paid for Gallagher in the summer of 2024.
With a move potentially on the cards for the 25-year-old, Everton could step up their interest and move for the ex-Chelsea man this winter.
If the Toffees were to swoop in and get their man, there is every chance he could replicate the output of Guimaraes at St James’ Park.
Gallager could replicate Bruno Guimaraes at Everton
The Brazil international is seen as one of the best midfield talents in the entire Premier League after three years with the Magpies.
This season, the 28-year-old has already contributed to five Premier League goals, while also creating 16 chances and winning 65 duels in his 11 outings.
Per 90, this equates to 1.46 chances created and 5.94 duel wins, with Gallagher contributing to 0.50 chances and 4.75 duels, but in minimal minutes.
The pair compare very similarly in terms of profile; the Englishman actually outperforms the Newcastle man in pass completion, progressive carries, successful take-ons, tackles, interceptions, and assists.

His other metrics would certainly take a step up with regular Premier League minutes, especially in an industrious set-up like Everton.
If the Toffees could land Gallagher, there is good reason to believe that Moyes could push him to the level of Guimaraes across the second half of the season.
