Everton move to clear up messy situation with new social media post
Everton fans will be able to breathe a sigh of relief after a new social media post helped relax mounting fears of disruption among the squad.
David Moyes’ side are currently on a good run of form in the Premier League, having picked up seven points from their last three games.
On Monday evening, Everton beat Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford, despite having to play the majority of the contest with ten men.
Idrissa Gana Gueye was sent off for striking Michael Keane in an extraordinary incident, but it didn’t stop the Toffees securing all three points, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall curling in a first-half winner.

Everton reveal Michael Keane – Idrissa Gana Gueye aftermath
In the 13th minute at Old Trafford, Gueye and Keane came to blows after a miscommunication between the pair let Bryan Mbeumo get an early shot away.
Angry words were exchanged before the Senegalese midfielder slapped his teammate in the face, with referee Tony Harrington immediately brandishing a red card.
Gueye immediately apologised to Keane in the dressing room after the game, and there is now more evidence that both have put the incident behind them.
On their official Instagram account, Everton posted a photo of the pair laughing and hugging at the training ground with the caption: “All love.”

Thierno Barry shares hilarious clip of Michael Keane and Idrissa Gueye
Thierno Barry joined in on the fun, sharing a video on his Instagram story which showed the Everton squad making light of the situation.
In the short clip, Keane and Gueye are put together in a makeshift boxing ring, with striker Beto refereeing the light-hearted contest.

Although the pair have clearly made up, Everton are still facing the repercussions of the incident as they prepare to face Newcastle United.
With Gueye being sent off for violent conduct, he is now suspended for the next three games, meaning that Moyes will be without his veteran midfielder.
Toffees fans will hope the absence of Gueye has little impact on the side, as Newcastle travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.
