Jack Grealish licking his lips as Everton seek 19-month first vs Newcastle United
Jack Grealish will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing Newcastle United this coming weekend amid a new stat reveal.
David Moyes has got the most out of Grealish during his time on loan at Hill Dickinson Stadium from Manchester City.
While Grealish played his part in Everton’s 1-0 win at Manchester United on Monday, he once again went a game without registering a direct goal involvement.
However, Grealish can blame his Everton teammates for not converting chances that he is laying on for them.
There is no doubt Grealish will want to add to his four assists, and Saturday’s home clash with Newcastle gives him a chance to do just that.
Jack Grealish has impressive assists record vs Newcastle
Everton would love to sign Grealish permanently next summer and it is likely that the England international would love to do likewise.
Grealish’s four Premier League assists for Everton came in his first three appearances for the Toffees back in August.
Against no other side has Grealish assisted more goals against than Newcastle, though, with four to his name in total.

Those four assists can finally become five this weekend, then, with Grealish currently level with three others this season in that category.
Tottenham’s Mohammed Kudus, Yankuba Minteh of Brighton and – somewhat surprisingly – Burnley defender Quilindschy Hartman all also have four assists to their name.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Garner are further down the list with two assists to their name.
Everton seeking third successive win without conceding
The memorable win at Old Trafford came on the back of Everton beating Fulham 2-0 at Hill Dickinson Stadium before the international break.
Not since April 2024 – some 19 months ago – have Everton won three Premier League matches on the spin without conceding.
That is what Moyes will be seeking on Saturday, of course, although Everton have won just four of their past 14 top-flight encounters with the Magpies, losing six of those.
Should Grealish be in top form, however, and Iliman Ndiaye prove his tricky self in the final third, there is no reason why Everton cannot keep this impressive run going to continue climbing the table.
