David Moyes rules out Jack Grealish permanent transfer at Everton, finances an issue
Everton would certainly be daft not to complete a permanent transfer for Jack Grealish from Manchester City next summer.
The Toffees signed the 30-year-old on loan from the Sky Blues in the previous transfer window until the end of the season, although the deal does have a £50million buy option.
Grealish has been a game-changer at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but it doesn’t look like the Blues have any intention of paying a hefty fee for him.
Moyes has also brought the best out of Iliman Ndiaye, and it feels like the Scottish manager would rather build the team around the 25-year-old forward.

Everton ruled out of Jack Grealish transfer race
Moyes doesn’t think the Toffees can afford to pay £50m for Grealish at the end of the season.
No matter how well the England international does at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it seems like the attacker’s age may be an obstacle for the Blues to pay significant money for him.
The Scottish manager believes the finances of the loan deal may have to be changed for the Merseyside outfit to have a chance of signing the Man City star.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on 5 December, the 62-year-old head coach said: “I am sure we would have to alter that. I don’t think we would be in that ball game, and let’s be fair, adding everything into it, his age, it would be very difficult to pay that sort of money.”
Grealish should be a priority for The Friedkin Group next summer, and if the American owners have any ambition, they’ll go out of their way to complete his permanent signing.
Considering the impact the Englishman has had in L4, £50m seems like a bargain for him.

David Moyes may have no choice but to accept Jack Grealish transfer decision
Grealish will have ambitions of playing in the Champions League, with multiple top teams eyeing his services in the summer.
It seems like the winger chose Everton because he was guaranteed game time, which would certainly give the attacker the best chance of changing Thomas Tuchel’s mind.

Despite the Man City star’s incredible displays at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it feels like the England manager has already decided to exclude him from the 2026 World Cup squad.
Moyes could potentially have no choice but to accept that Grealish will want to leave the Merseyside outfit at the end of the season and play in the most prestigious European competition again.
