Jarrad Branthwaite and another Everton injury update emerges pre-Chelsea
David Moyes hopes to have Jarrad Branthwaite and Merlin Rohl back soon as Everton face Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
Moyes’ team will travel to Stamford Bridge on 13 December as the Toffees look to build a winning run.
Nottingham Forest were handily beaten at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Thierno Barry getting his first goal for the Merseyside outfit in the 3-0 victory.
Branthwaite has been out of action since before the start of the season, while Rohl has picked up a few niggles along the way, but they’re both back in training.

Everton have double injury boost before Chelsea game
Branthwaite and Rohl are expected to return to action sooner rather than later, with the midfielder further along in his recovery.
The centre-back and the former Freiburg star are back on the grass, and Moyes could have them back at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the upcoming fixtures.
With Idrissa Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye off to the Africa Cup of Nations, the Scottish manager hopes to have a full squad at his disposal.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on 12 December, Moyes said: “Jarrad and Merlin are back on the grass and are doing some. Merlin is obviously further on than Jarrad, but they’re both back on the grass, and hopefully we’ll get a chance to see them back soon.”
Moyes is gunning for a European spot in the Premier League, and with a consistent set of results, that is undoubtedly possible.
The Merseysiders are seventh in the table right now, but can overtake Chelsea with a win in London.
David Moyes will look to prove prediction wrong at Stamford Bridge
Opta’s supercomputer predicts Moyes to lose to Chelsea, with the Toffees considered big underdogs going into the game.
It’s surprising to see Everton not being given a chance, considering the recent form of the two teams.

Enzo Maresca’s team are coming off some disappointing results of late, drawing 0-0 at the Vitality Stadium and losing 3-1 to Leeds United in their last two league matches.
The Toffees can make a statement by getting points off Chelsea and Arsenal in back-to-back Premier League games, and Moyes will be happy to prove people wrong.
