Paul Merson noticed this after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall injury blow in Chelsea vs Everton
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been a revelation for Everton in recent months.
Everton travelled to Chelsea on Saturday, looking to continue their scintillating form in the Premier League after wins over Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.
Dewsbury-Hall scored in both of those wins, but it was a return to forget at Stamford Bridge, as he was forced off injured within 15 minutes.
David Moyes looked concerned, with Carlos Alcaraz coming on and Cole Palmer opening the scoring only minutes later in West London.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall injury trouble for Everton
Paul Merson was disappointed for Dewsbury-Hall after he was forced off, sharing that it was a hamstring issue picked up at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday on 13 December, the ex-Arsenal star shared what he noticed when the playmaker limped off.
“Dewsbury-Hall has gone off with a hamstring; he held his hamstring,” Merson said.
“He was disappointed. Alcaraz is going to come on. He hardly touched the ball; there isn’t long gone, and he’s had to come off.

“He got a good reaction off the Chelsea fans when he come off, but it will be disappointing for him.”
Dewsbury-Hall has been sensational for Everton this season
The former Chelsea man started somewhat slowly, but in recent weeks, he has been sensational.
James Tarkowski said it best before kick-off at Stamford Bridge on 13 December, saying his work on and off the ball adds massive purpose in the final third for the Toffees.
Unfortunately, that appears to have caught up with him, with this hamstring injury blow.

Dewsbury-Hall has already served a suspension for five yellow cards this season, despite at least two of those being completed unjustified.
Now, this appears to be another spell on the sidelines at completely the wrong time.
With the 2026 World Cup quickly approaching, Dewsbury-Hall has been tipped for the England squad, but if he misses several games with this injury, he can wave goodbye to that dream.
Fingers crossed his early substitution was more of a precaution ahead of the busy Christmas period.
